An evening of words and music about Belarus
In connection to the Stockholm Conference on Belarus, SCEEUS in cooperation with the Swedish MFA arranged an evening that highlighted contemporary Belarusian culture.
Special guests: novelist Eva Vezhnavets, poet Valzhyna Mort, musician Svetlana Ben and the leader of the democratic movement in the country Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya. Also participating are Swedish Minister of Culture Parisa Liljestrand, translator Mikael Nydahl, and actors Gunnel Fred and Hannes Meidal. The program included readings, talks, reflections, and music.
Announcer for the evening will be SCEEUS analyst Stefan Ingvarsson.
