Klara Lindström
Analyst
Klara is an Analyst at the Stockholm Centre for Eastern European Studies (SCEEUS).
Areas of expertise:
• Ukraine’s domestic politics and reforms
• EU politics and enlargement
• Ukraine and Russia
Klara Lindström has previously worked at the East Capital Group, the Swedish Armed Forces Headquarters and the Swedish Ministry of Defence. She has also worked at the Embassy of Sweden in Moscow 2018–2020. Klara studied at the Swedish Military Interpreter School and served as a military interpreter in Ukraine in 2021.
Klara holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, Politics and Economics (PPE) from Oxford University and a second Bachelor’s degree in Russian Language and Literature from Uppsala University. She has also studied International Law at the Swedish Defence University. Klara is a non-commissioned officer in the reserve (OR-6). Klara travels regularly to Ukraine. She speaks Swedish, English, Ukrainian and Russian.
