New colleagues at SCEEUS

We are pleased to welcome two new colleagues to SCEEUS.

Emma-Lina Löflund joined SCEEUS in October 2026. She focuses on security policy developments in Russia and Ukraine, particularly Russia’s aggression against Ukraine. She previously worked as a researcher at the Swedish Defence Research Agency (FOI), where she led a project on Ukrainian security policy.

Jon Fridholm also joined SCEEUS in October 2026. His work focuses on Belarus, civil society and authoritarianism. He also contributes to the China-Russia Dashboard. Jon has extensive experience in civil society organisations working with democracy and human rights in Eastern Europe.
