Developments in Ukraine – What do we know together?

On Wednesday, October 22, SCEEUS participated in the workshop “Developments in Ukraine – What Do We Know Together?” The event was organized by the project Ukrainian Security Policy at the Swedish Defence Research Agency (FOI) and brought together representatives from various Swedish government agencies.

During the morning session, SCEEUS Deputy Director Emy Wängborg, together with analysts Klara Lindström and Jakob Hedenskog, presented SCEEUS’s upcoming projects. They also discussed ongoing work, including topics such as EU enlargement, mobilization in Ukraine, and the situation in the occupied territories. Other participants gave presentations that provided valuable insight into the efforts of Swedish authorities to strengthen Ukraine’s security and defense.

The afternoon was devoted to identifying areas for collaboration, with the aim of enhancing Sweden’s knowledge base on Ukraine. Many thanks to the participating agencies and to FOI for an important workshop highly relevant to today’s security environment.
