About the Conference
The Stockholm Conference on Belarus will be a platform to demonstrate support to the democratic movement and to ensure that Belarus remains high and prioritized on the European agenda.
The conference will focus on the importance of national identity, culture and language for a country where a significant part of the population lives in exile. Topics will include the European future of the country, the role of national identity, language and culture, as well as the potential for a thriving Belarusian economy and democracy.
The conference will be held on the International Day of Solidarity with Political Prisoners in Belarus, and the situation of political prisoners will also be addressed.
