SCEEUS Report Series on Ukrainian Domestic Affairs

On 24 February 2022, Russian forces launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Immediately after the attack, there was a widespread fear that Ukraine would fall and not be able to withstand the invasion. But what has happened is exactly the opposite. Ukraine has survived and continues to develop, despite heavy losses in human lives and a huge destruction of its industrial and economic potential.

How have Ukraine’s domestic affairs developed under the pressure of Russian aggression? Since the spring of 2023, SCEEUS has released a series of reports containing up-to-date analyses on various aspects of the development of Ukrainian society. Swedish and international experts - including several from Ukraine - address aspects such as domestic political development, economy, military development, anti-corruption, demography, resilience, EU-integration and reconstruction, among other topics.
