Lecture and conversation with Mikhail Khodorkovskiy

On 24 October, SCEEUS together with SITE hosted a lecture and conversation with Mikhail Khodorkovsky, Russian businessman and former CEO of the oil company Yukos. Once the richest person in Russia, Khodorkovsky was imprisoned from 2003 to 2013 and is now a prominent figure in the Russian opposition in exile. He is the founder of several organisations for democracy and justice in Russia, including Open Russia. The conversation focused on the future of Russia and the domestic political situation in the country.
